Pumpkin Carving Time

Ok so the order of these pictures is completely backwards, just pretend you are rewinding. Here we have the finished product both little cutie pies worked so very hard on, possibly even sweat over. There was teeth clenching, toe curling, grunting with determination to get these pumpkins finished and they truly are a work of art. Too bad you cant get the full effect with a flash. They were seriously awesome with the candle inside and the dark night.

Seriously though, just look at that determination.

Of course getting a little slimy is so much fun when you are a boy. I always thought it was a little gross as a kid, but then again, I am, I mean was a little princess!

Seriously, these kids are cute, little cheesers.

Braiden's Football

Oh how I love football. I have to admit, I never enjoyed football growing up. Sure the High School football games are always fun but that is because you are always there with a very large group of friends, not because you actually like football. Then as a married person, the Superbowl parties are always fun, but that is because you have a very large group of friends, and food is involved, not because you actually like watching the game, but then, your precious child plays and suddenly you need to learn about the game, buy yourself a jersey and scream at the T.V. right along with the rest of the men in the house. Funny how kids change your life. I can now honestly say, I adore football.

Is this not seriously the best picture. Thirsty hardworking kid in his huge helmet

Then there is Coach Dad! Cutest dang coach I have ever seen. Us girls it has always been about the cute football players, even still ...

All lined up and ready to "hit somebody", as we were always yelling at them. Funny you spend their whole childhood telling them it is not ok to hit other people then get them on the line and we go back on everything we have worked so hard to teach them.

Ty Soccer

We love fall, it is filled with all sorts of sports. We as the parents of course have no more free time, but we absolutely love it. Now that I am adding these posts, all of our sporting teams are over for the year. We are a little bit devastated, although we did just sign both of the boys up for indoor soccer. Yes we do live vicariously through our children. Doesn't everybody??

I think the thing I love the most about watching little kids play soccer is the big swarm of kids surrounding the ball.

So see that kid leaning in for the kill, yes that is my kid. He is going pro someday, mark my words.

Such good form. Cute little soccer players
