Christmas Day

Christmas morning, I was up with Addison around 3:30 to feed her, the boys woke up at 4:30 to open presents, yes you read that right, 4:30.  No I did not let them stay up - party pooper.  We all went back to bed.  At 6:00 they got up again and I figured there was no way they would go back to sleep this time so up we went to begin the fun, loud, crazy day.

Here is Tyson loading songs and videos on his new ipod nano.  It is not good when your kids have better stuff than the parents do.

And Braiden playing his new PSP

Of course Braiden playing with his new sister was a much cuter picture.  Addison was mom and dad's present for Christmas this year.  Cutest little present ever!

Speaking of Addison, she did not like her Christmas present.  This picture makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it

Not sure exactly what this little monkey was doing but it is funny because he is upside down.  Yes simple things amuse me.

Dressed and cute

The boys sure do love their sis.  By this time in the day we were over and my Aunt Cami's house.  Tyson sometimes doesn't like it when everyone holds Addison but him, so we had to steal her away so he could get some big brother time with her.  So cute.  Oh and this dress she is wearing went to her ankles 6 weeks ago.  She has grown a ton!

Look how long Braiden is.  The little monster is going to be ginormous when he grows up

Grandma Vonzaa, Great aunt Cami and Grandma Great.  Should have had me in there so we could have had four generations of girls in the pic.  Oh well maybe next time.

And of course cute Jes and Lindsay. Some of my favorite people.  Funny  how they let me take a picture.  No one gets a picture of Jesse.  Thanks little brother - Love you guys

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Early Christmas

Well, Christmas came a little early this year as my Dad and his beautiful wife came up to meet Addison we all figured we would celebrate early since we never get to be with each other for Christmas.  This had a little bonus because they actually got their presents on time this year.  I can't ever remember to ship them so they get there for Holidays, birthdays or whatever days.  It was so great to have them for the weekend - we miss you guys!!

Here is the early Christmas day with everyone opening presents.  We got a jogging stroller, perfect gift since we got rid of everything baby wise.  Now little Addie can go running with me.

Crazy boys

Here is Jesse and Lindsay.  They are so dang cute.  They got backpacks and a tent so they can go out and be adverturous.

Braiden got these cool night vision goggles.  They were fun.  In fact the kids play tag in the basement with them.  Shh don't tell the other kids that it is not fair since the only one that can see anything is the one with the goggles.  Anyway, Braiden decided to take a picture of a picture in the dark, through the goggles.

Injured Soul

So Tyson today on his way home from school decided to stop and do a snow angel.  Well although everything is white outside the snow is not actually that deep.  When he hit the ground, he forgot that our park strip has rock designs not grass in it and bashed his head on the rocks.  He came inside and wanted some ice for his head.  The ice obviously being cold, made his hands cold so he asked if I could wrap the boo boo buddy to his head.  Well here is the result.  What a goof.

Sledding Day

For Thanksgiving this year we were lucky enough to have Kent's brother Lance and his super cute family come stay with us for a few days.  It was so much fun to have them.  Zach is a year older than Braiden and they were instant BFF's.  On one of the days, Kent took the kids sledding - well everyone except Brenna, she was probably on her phone somewhere (ha ha. J/K Brenna, she really was shopping with Grandma that day - I think, it is all a blur)
Long story - anyway here are some cute photos of sledding day.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, we totally should have taken a picture of the family that day.  We had 30 (maybe a couple more) people over at our house that day for dinner.  It was awesome.  I love Thanksgiving, such good food and good company.  We especailly had a good Thanksgiving as we were all grateful that our baby girl could come into our lives.  I am so grateful for my family!

Bath Day

How come babies are so cute in the bathtub, who knows but you always see them.  Well here is our little cutie pie in the sink.  Of course the boys wanted in on all the action.  I hope they are always as in love with her as they are now.

Family Photos

Well we have officially got all of our photos back from having them done and then having them updated so I thought I would post them.  They turned out so cute, well most of them.  Those that didn't you just don't get to see.  Ha, the power of the poster, you only see what I let you see >) (that was my evil smiley face)

So on Addison's photo day we also wanted to update the family photos that we did 7 weeks earlier.  Unfortuantely I was not nearly as cute as I was 7 weeks ago.  I did not realize how sleep deprived Kent and I truly were until I saw these.  Out of all of the pictures she took only a couple of them were good enough to try to photoshop out the sleepiness.  The kids were really cute though.

If anyone knows how to photoshop Addie G into our old photos let me know, she could just be floating somewhere in the picture for all I care, in fact that could be really funny.

Ok so I have to tell you about this picture (below).  Amy told the boys to squeeze us really tight so they did, or so I thought they did.  I thought this picture was super cute, in fact I used in in our profile to show Addison's birth mom.  Afterwards Kent asked me why I chose the picture of Tyson stabbing him with a stick.  Oh how funny, I thought he was giving a big sqeeze, not trying to kill his father.  Well that is life with boys for you.

Just the kids

Just look at how much the boys adore their sister.  It is amazingly cute to watch them with her.  Last week the social worker came out for one of the post-pacement visits we have to do before finalization in May and she kept commenting on how sweet it was to watch the boys with her.  Expecially Braiden, remeber Ty does not do public displays of affection.  Braiden just follows her, or I should say us when we have her, around and kisses her and makes cute little faces and sounds with her.  Ty does it when no one is looking, well we can me but no one else.  He is famous for his fly by kisses.  He will be running around, stop, kiss her on the forehead and carry on with whatever it is he was doing.

The social worker asked both of the boys what their favorite part of having a new sister, Tyson thought about it for a minute and said everything except the poopy diapers.  He literally gags at the smell and it is not even bad yet, wait until solids.  I feel sorry for his wife as I don't know if he will be able to handle diaper duty.

Addie G (aka Addison Grace)

Oh sweet little girl of ours.  She is so dang cute, I can hardly stand it (although right now she is in the sling and yelling at me, sad for me)  She is almost 4 weeks old now and has changed so much.  It kinda makes me sad.  Funny how I could not wait for the boys to grow up and I keep telling her to slow down.  I do love the age of the boys right now though.  Time could possibly stop and I would be happy with that.
Addison still wakes up every three hours all day/night long to eat.  When she goes a whole four hours at night we jump for joy.  She is alert so much more now and you can actually wake her up, last week forget about it, if she was sleeping there was nothing you could do to change that.
Here are some freaking cute pictures our friend Amy did of her.  We actually did them at our house, she just brought her house with her for props and what not.  It was fun and she peed on everything, seriously every single shot of her with no diaper, there is pee under her.  It was funny.

This one below is extra cute as it shows her heart shaped birthmark above her hip.  So cute!

Just look at those dimples.  I am excited for when she smiles at me for real and not just cuz of toots.

Brothers

So these really are some of my favorite photos of the boys.  Amy did such a great job with them.  Every time I look at these my heart gets all warm and fuzzy and I think, see they really do like each other.  No really most days they do but on those other times, whoa baby.

Tyson

So here is sweet Ty.  He is my kid who will do just about anything for a laugh, as long as you are not laughing at him.  It must be with otherwise watch out. This unfortunatley does land him in the pricipals office on occasion.  Ask him about 1st grade and he will tell you he spent the whole year there.  He is doing much better in 2nd grade as I think he has only made it there three times so far this year.
Ty is very sweet but does have a problem with public dispays of affection.  He is much better now that his little sis was born.  Funny how that happened.  He also likes to fix and see how things work, as well as draw.  He is fun to have around.

And then this would be our crazy goofball

Braiden

Cute little Braiden, well, not so little he is almost as tall as me in 4th grade.  What can I tell you about him ... he absolutely loves life and everything about it.  He is such a happy person, a little too happy for me first thing in the morning, as it takes me a bit longer than him to spring out of bed, especailly after being up with Addison a couple of times durning the night!  I love this kid, well duh, ya I love all my kids.  Ok funny story, well kinda as it is bad on my part.  I was nagging him one day about something, who knows what this time as he is 9 and I am a mother so yes I unfortunately do nag, but later Kent asked what mom was yelling at him about and he shakes his head and said, I don't even know.  Goes to show you why we nag.  They flat out do not hear mom's voice - ever.  He is happy about not listening though, ha ha ha

So that was the cute picture so that you can see that he really is such a handsome boy, now for Braiden
