Memorial Day Camping Trip

This Memorial Day we rented a camper and headed to the great outdoors. Our friends, the Gray's, invited us to stay with them on their beautiful property in Mantua, Utah. It was a blast!!
I adore this picture. Cute little Braiden. Nine going on 19. He is sooo cool!

Shooting Time!

As you can see Layla, met her new beau. His name is Eddie. This is what they looked like all weekend, unless of course they were sleeping.
Braiden, Tyson and Brittany were busy earning their keep by cleaning out the fishing boat. I figured since this was the only work they did all weekend I should have proof.

Little Ty striking a pose with his sparklers. They could not wait for it to get dark so we did it in the light. Still just as much fun

This was Denise's idea. Here is our billboard advertisement that was on the trailer we rented. Doesn't is make you want to run right out and rent one? Just kidding, it was good fun.

look close in Braiden's hands. It is a pop gun. All weekend long we heard, pop pop pop pop pop, you get the idea. At times there were five kids there so it truly went all weekend long. I could tune it out. Those without two crazy little boys living with them had a harder time tuning out the constant noise. Me, I'm a pro.

They were trying to pose cute, but being the goofy kids they are, of course someone fell down

So here is a good story. The first night of our camping trip, Jamie announces that we are all going fishing at 6:00 am. Braiden, being the boy who gets excited about everything could not sleep that night. All night long we heard, "dad, what time is it", or "dad, how am I going to know when it is 6" or "dad", "dad", "dad". Needless to say. There was absolutely no sleeping going on. As a matter of fact, Braiden decided to get up and get dressed at 4:00 and sit in the drivers seat of the motor home so he would know when everyone got up. The sad part about all of that is, everyone slept in and no one went fishing until 7:30. At lease he was ready to go and no one had to wait for him. Funny now, not in the middle of the night though.

Good thing we got up so early to go fishing, (he, he) The boys truly did love it, even though there were no bites that morning.

Aww, cute family photo. This was at the tip of the mountain we went four wheeling up. I am a total nervous Nelly on those things. I kept thinking we were going to tip over. The boys however, could not get enough. If someone was silly enough to be sitting around doing nothing, one of the kids would sucker them into taking them for a ride.

Isn't the scenery absolutely beautiful though?

This was just plain cute.

We finally let the kids drive by themselves. They were in hog heaven. Thankfully Wendy was patient enough to give them all lessons. They were very safe and had so much fun.

In the drivers seat is Wendy. It is her mom's place that we put our trailers on. We were so grateful to be able to go with them. We all loved it!!!

Our Little Angel

For those of you who begged and pleaded with us to try again for a little girl, we decided to take you advice and a big thank you she is just an angel. She was born on November 17, 2008 and we decided to name her Layla (yes, after the Eric Clapton song.)

Ha, Ha, Ha

She has just graduated from puppy school, notice Tyson is wearing the graduation cap.

Isn't she just adorable. I think she looks more like Kent although we do have the same color of hair.

Cute little button of a puppy

Hawaii

Isn't this the weirdest tree you have ever seen? It was in Hawaii

They said it was as big as a city block. I could be totally making that up right now though.

Trying to be athletes

This was my first and favorite marathon in St. George. After three of them I am sticking to the 1/2 now in my old age, they are more fun.
Kent after riding the Zion's century last year. He ended up riding over 2500 miles last year.
WOW!! Kudos to him. I just try to keep up

He is my superhero!!

Hopefully all of this huffing and puffing rubs off on our kids and they start doing it with us. That would be so fun to finish a race with my kids.

Newport Beach

Funny how kids love to bury themselves in the sand

Chillin out with Aunt Natalie in the beach house. What a way to vacation!!
I don't think little Ty got much deeper than this in the ocean. After all there are sharks in there you know.

Braiden and Kent has so much fun body surfing the waves. Poor little red headed Kent didn't last too long thought. Noticed he is covered from head to toe?

Grandpa Great's 80th Birthday Party

It was a long day if you notice the both of them. Pictures sure are hard for little kids. Sure are amazingly cute though when you look back on them. At least we can all laugh at the hard times.
Awww how cute!! Little lovebirds
We tried and tried to get a cut picture. By this time we had all had it. I think it is great. It definitely shows our life back then. Funny how hard it was and how you miss it. Guess it is God's little trick to get you to have more . . . No I am not announcing anything.

Father's Day

This is Kent's other true love. If you see him riding away on a Harley I had better be on the back!!

Yellowstone Vacation 2008

My little sis Natalie got to come with us on this trip. Isn't she cute?
